It is time to refresh that carburetor that is over twenty years old. A tired carburetor can be hard to start, yields poor gas mileage, and slow acceleration. This renew kit brings your carburetor back to original specs and like-new condition! These carburetor renew kits come complete with all of the necessary gaskets, O-rings, pump diaphragm(s), power valve(s), needle, seat(s), and detailed instructions for a complete rebuild.
Just pick up somecarburetor cleaner spray (get the name brand stuff) and pick a clean, well-lit table to disassemble. Most carburetor problems are caused by the buildup of shellac or foreign particles in the passageways. Remove the top or side(s) of the carburetor to expose the float chamber. Get the carburetor cleaner with the small hose attachment to spray into the small passages in the carburetor. After a good cleaning, you are ready to put in the needle, seat, and the accelerator pump. Finish up with fresh gaskets that come in the kit. A little work will yield a like-new carburetor!
