Original Identified WWII USMC Marine Corps 4th Marine Division UNIS Unit Marked Pack named to two Marines, MSgt. William T. Yeager and Cpl. Earl A. Bilzing.Yeager served as a member of Able Co. 4th Motor Transportation Battalion and participated in all four of the division's campaigns during WWII at Roi-Namur, Saipan, Tinian and Iwo Jima. Although he continued his service post-war up through 1957, he saw no further combat.Bilzing enlisted late in WWII and would see no action before the end of the war, but with the outbreak of the Korean War he was recalled back to active duty and served with Service Co. 1st Tank Battalion in Korea for approximately ten months.
