Offered for sale is a fascinating historical collection relating to the November 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the investigation by the Dallas Police Department, and Lee Harvey Oswald.
This bundle contains archival photographic reproductions, reproduced Dallas Police records and a 1992 JFK-themed Dallas newspaper. Everything shown is included and will be sold together as one lot.

• Elevated view looking toward Dealey Plaza and the surrounding roadway from the Texas School Book Depository area
The backs of the photographs bear a credit stamp reading:
“Dallas Municipal Archives and Records Center
City of Dallas, Texas”
They also have handwritten negative/archive reference numbers from Collection 91-001. Visible identifiers include numbers such as 91-001/408, 91-001/368 and 91-001/079, with the individual numbers shown clearly in the listing photographs.
Collection 1991-001 is the Dallas Municipal Archives collection titled “Dallas Police Department Records Related to the Assassination of John F. Kennedy, 1963–1992.” The Dallas Police Department transferred the related records to the Municipal Archives, where the collection includes police reports, investigative documents, photographs and negatives.
IMPORTANT PHOTOGRAPH INFORMATION:
The 91-001 designation is an archival collection or accession number. It is not a limited-edition number and does not mean that only a certain number of prints were produced.
These are best described as later archival photographic reproductions made from images associated with the Dallas Police Department/JFK assassination collection. The exact date when these particular physical photographs were printed is unknown. They are not being represented as original photographic prints produced in 1963.

The Oswald arrest report records his name, address, arrest location and the investigative murder charge. Its handwritten narrative references President John F. Kennedy, Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit and Texas Governor John Connally.
These documents are historical reproductions or photocopies of Dallas Police records. They are not represented as original handwritten or typewritten police documents from 1963.

Also included is a Dallas, Texas “JFK TODAY” special newspaper with a $3.00 cover price. The front-page headlines include:
“The Mystery of the Three Hobos: Solved?”
“Dallas Files Open – Documents Found Inside”
The front page features a large photograph of President Kennedy’s motorcade traveling through Dallas. This newspaper is associated with the 1992 opening and public interest surrounding the Dallas JFK records.
CONDITION:
The JFK TODAY newspaper is in very good overall condition for its age. The photographs and reproduced documents remain presentable, with normal minor handling, storage and age-related wear possible. Please examine all listing photographs closely for the exact contents, printing, archive markings, edges, corners and overall condition.
One photograph depicts Lee Harvey Oswald deceased in the morgue and may be considered historically graphic.
No certificate of authenticity or additional provenance paperwork is included. The Dallas Municipal Archives credit stamps and handwritten archive numbers are shown clearly in the photographs and form part of the description.
