*RARE* 1940’s Unsigned Coro Adolph Katz Couple Under Lamppost Rhinestone Brooch For Sale

Highly collectible, rare vintage figural brooch belonging to a series of miniature figural brooches released by Coro around 1948-1949. While the larger versions of this design line carry explicit patent numbers (such as design patents by legendary Coro director Adolph Katz) and official brand stamps, the smaller versions from this particular line were frequently left unsigned. Collectors and vintage jewelry experts widely recognize and verify these unsigned duplicates due to their distinct construction, unique gemstone placement, and identical casting methods shared with the marked counterparts.The pin features a charming, stylized 1940’s scene depicting a couple under a lamppost. The figure on the left represents a woman in a skirt, and the figure on the right represents a man wearing a top hat. It is crafted from a gold-tone metal base embellished with large, colorful rhinestones. The bodies of the figures are inset with large oval, light-blue rhinestones, their faces are formed by round pink rhinestones, and the lamppost features rectangular red and dark green crystal accents. The ground bar at the bottom is lined with a row of clear chaton rhinestones. Measures 1.25” x 1” with a secure roll-over clasp. Pristine vintage condition.
