Designed by Pininfarina, it combined graceful Italian proportions with genuine grand-touring performance and the pleasure of open-top motoring. The original GranCabrio was powered by a naturally aspirated 4.7-litre V8 producing approximately 440 hp, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. It could accelerate from 0–100 km/h in around 5.4 seconds and reach a top speed of approximately 283 km/h.The GranCabrio’s appeal lay in its combination of performance, comfort and character. Its sculpted bodywork, distinctive front grille and unmistakable Maserati identity made it a striking alternative to more conventional luxury convertibles. The deep, characteristic sound of its naturally aspirated V8 further enhanced its appeal as a classic Italian grand tourer. The Nero Carbonio finish suits the car particularly well, highlighting its elegant lines while giving it a discreet, sophisticated appearance.Collector’s NoteMinichamps has captured the GranCabrio in 1:43 scale, making this model an attractive addition to a collection focused on Maserati, Italian performance cars or premium European convertibles. With its metallic black finish, original presentation components and limited production run of 2,016 pieces, it offers an understated alternative to more brightly coloured collector models.ConditionBased on my own careful visual assessment, the model presents very well, and I could not identify any visible defects. It appears to be in very good collector condition. The model comes complete with its display stand, protective display case and original outer sleeve. The protective case has some light scratches, while the outer sleeve shows minor signs of storage wear. These cosmetic imperfections affect the packaging only and do not detract from the appearance of the model itself. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and allow you to assess the exact condition of the item. Please feel free to ask any questions before purchasing. I always reply as quickly as possible. The model will be carefully packed to help ensure it reaches its new owner safely.Worldwide shipping available through GSP (Global Shipping Programme). Please note: The asking price may be changed at any time at the seller’s discretion.
