Ridgid 14000, 14001, 14002 14\" Bandsaw Upper Support Bracket B-56 Part # 823745Item may come with thumb screws as shown in photo or screws.
* Note: Will work as B-60, (lower guide) but DOES NOT have a hole for the screw to attach the below table blade guard number (63), part number 823779Shaft Measures .3175\" (or about 3/8\'\') x .5875\"-(about 9/16\") x 1-3/4\" long\"
You may need to adjust the hex shaft your thrust bearing is on. To do this remove the set screw the micro-adjusting nut is on with a hex key. remove hex shaft. The bearing is mounted on a cam. Reinstall hex shaft so the bearing is farther away from guide fork and reinstall.
GUIDE ADJUSTMENT: To adjust the guide first move both upper and lower guide rub blocks and thrust bearing away from blade so it does not touch them. Then adjust the lower side guides so that they just touch the blade behind the teeth. Repeat with upper guide. Then adjust the thrust bearings so that they almost touch the rear edge of the blade with no load. Snug thumb screws on blocks and tighten thumb screws on Rub block fork and thrust bearing. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS THAT HOLD THE GUIDE BLOCKS IN! THEY NEED ONLY BE SNUG. Over tightening is a beginners mistake and is the only cause for this part to ever fail.
