Up for sale is a rare, authentic vintage Stork Club ceramic ashtray and integrated matchbox holder, manufactured by the legendary Hall China Company (Made in USA). The Stork Club was one of New York City\'s most famous elite celebrity and high-society hotspots from the 1930s through the 1950s, making this an incredible piece of mid-century NYC nightlife history.
Condition Details:
• Lettering: The white embossed \"STORK CLUB\" script on the front is crisp, bold, and fully intact.
• Markings: Features the authentic green stamped \"HALL / MADE IN U.S.A.\" circular logo on the unglazed bottom base.
• Structure: No cracks, chips, or flea bites on the rims or edges. The matchbox slot has been thoroughly cleaned out.
• Glaze: The glossy black finish shows a network of fine surface scratching/scuffs under direct light consistent with age and gentle vintage use, but it still retains a very nice shine.
