These are in good condition for their age. They have some wear and some marks on the covers. They have a stamped previous owners name on one of the end pages dated 1909. There is one page an end page (in a night of the 19th century) that has a piece torn out of the corner. However, the rest of the pages appear to be clean and crisp and in good overall condition & free from markings or writing. The bindings are overall strong and secure.
