This 12 piece collection of dessert plates are really quite beautiful. There are 2 sets of 6 so that there are two 'matching' plates for each design. The color pallette is the same across all as is the painted decoration and style. The backstamp on all is the same, so I only photographed one. They all indicate 'Haviland and Co Pour (for, in French) Shreve Crump & Low, Boston'.
I couldn't find the pattern information for these. I am presuming they are dessert plates as they have a lovely scalloped edge and are 7 1/4" acrss and stand 3/4" tall. Please come to your own conclusions about their use as I am not an expert.
These are in excellent condition for something made just before 1900 - or even now. Honestly, many don't appear to have been used. That said, the edges on some have some gold gilt wear which I tried to photograph the obvious expamples but please look closely at that. Otherwise, no chips, cracks or problems with glaze.
