Wonderful vintage boxed collection of 12 glass diorama Christmas ornaments dating to approximately the 1950s.The set consists of 11 Czechoslovakian ornaments and 1 Japanese ornament. These beautiful blown-glass ornaments have deeply recessed silvered centers containing dimensional figural Christmas scenes.The assortment includes angels, elves/gnomes, a sailor, other figural characters, and the unusual ornament containing miniature colored glass balls. The ornaments have red, pink, teal/blue and gold exteriors with silvered interiors and sparkling vintage decorative trim.The original divided cardboard box and vintage tissue are included. The box has Czechoslovakian identification/markings as shown in the photographs.Condition: These are approximately 75-year-old glass ornaments and show expected age-related wear. There is varying silvering and finish loss, spotting, oxidation/ tarnish to some caps, and wear or loss to some of the decorative trim. Two ornaments have holes/damage as pictured. The sailor ornament has internal cracking and a hole/ damage on the reverse. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.
