A collection of the poems of Felicia Hemans.
Hemans was a popualr English poet of the early nineteenth century, known today for her two classics opening lines, \'The boy stood on the burning deck\' and \'The stately homes of England\'.
Her poetry was greatly acclaimed after her early death, and was held as a model for other female poets.
Illustrated with a frontispiece and a vignette title page.
CONDITION
In a full morocco prize binding. Externally, smart. Mark to the front board, and lighter marks to the rear board and spine. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prize inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with a few spots to the frontispiece and vignette title.
