All four coins exhibit moderate to heavy circulation wear. Seated Liberty remains identifiable, with varying amounts of shield and drapery detail visible. Higher design points show significant flattening, particularly on the most heavily worn specimens. The dates remain readable.
Reverse
The ONE DIME denomination and surrounding wreath designs remain identifiable. Wreath leaf definition varies among the four coins, with substantial wear on some examples. Rim denticles and peripheral details are better preserved on the stronger specimens.
Surface Condition
The coins display circulation marks, scratches, uneven coloration, and areas of surface roughness. Some surfaces exhibit possible environmental effects. Rim wear varies. Previous cleaning cannot be conclusively determined from the photographs.
Grade & Justification
Conservative Estimated Grades: AG to VG Details.
The weaker examples exhibit extensive central design wear, consistent with approximately AG to G detail levels. Stronger examples retain additional Liberty, shield, wreath, and lettering detail, approaching VG. Visible surface impairments are considered in the overall assessment.
These are visual grading estimates only. The coins are uncertified, and no professional grading designation is represented or guaranteed.
