This is an antique book published in 1883 and shows age and use consistent with a volume that has survived for more than 140 years. The brown textured hardcover features decorative blind-stamped borders with gilt lettering and detailing along the spine.

There is visible wear along the spine, particularly at the upper spine edge, including rubbing, chipping and material loss. Additional edge and corner wear is present. Pages show age-related toning, discoloration and occasional spotting or marks. A previous owner has made a handwritten reference notation on an interior page, as pictured.
