Description:This listing is for an antique treenware wooden plate, approximately 10 1/4" in diameter. An estate collection record shown in the final photo identifies this piece as an “18th century treenware plate, found in Vermont” and dates it c. 1790. The record indicates the plate was purchased in 1986 and includes an older photograph of the piece. The original collection record is not included with the plate; the final photo is a saved image from the estate sale where this piece was purchased.
Dark aged surface with extensive wear from use. Numerous scratches, scuffs, edge wear and surface irregularities throughout. There is also an old crack extending inward from the rim. Please review all photos closely for condition.
