This coin is a 1921 20 Centavos minted for the Philippines during the U.S. Colonial Administration period.
Obverse (Top): Features a female figure (often referred to as Liberty) holding a hammer resting on an anvil. In the background, the active volcano Mt. Mayon is visible. It bears the text "TWENTY CENTAVOS" and "FILIPINAS".
Reverse (Bottom): Shows an American bald eagle with outstretched wings perched atop a striped shield. It is inscribed with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the year 1921. Mint: This issue was struck at the Manila Mint. Coins from this year lack a mint mark.
