The is a vintage 1936 print calendar featuring artwork by Virginie Demont-Breton titled "Her Man is on the Sea." It was manufactured in the United States, making it a unique and historical artifact from that time period. I believe Nortz Lumber Company was located in North Dakota. My father bought this calendar for my mother a couple decades ago because it represented her birth year. The calendar captures a mother and child patiently waiting for the return of husband and father from the sea.
Please look closely at the photographs for dimensions and condition of item. It has been stored inside for as long as we have owned it. Non-smoking environment. But as you can see the corners are roughed up and it’s got a couple scratches and slight water damage that you can see on the back side, bottom right corner.
