This 1950s-era Rawlings MM4 Mickey Mantle Personal Model is an adult-size baseball glove for a right-handed thrower. Its classic full web, Deep Well Pocket and Snugger wrist adjustment give it unmistakable period character. The stamped Mickey Mantle facsimile autograph and model markings remain partially visible.
The glove has been completely restored and relaced in Havana tan leather lace. The rich brown leather retains a nicely formed pocket, while the contrasting lace gives the glove a warm, vintage presentation without taking away its original identity.
Honest wear remains, including surface variation, softened stamps and a very small amount of ink. Nothing has been disguised; this is a genuine survivor carrying the evidence of its playing history. Preserved, not replaced.
