Vintage Breitling Genève TransOcean automatic wristwatch dating from the late 1950s/early 1960s, featuring a silver dial with applied hour markers, dauphine-style hands, center seconds and date window at 3 o’clock. The stainless-steel case has the distinctive TransOcean caseback with Breitling’s twin-aircraft emblem and “Automatic Swiss Waterproof” engraving. The watch is fitted with a tan genuine leather strap. The case, crystal, dial, hands and caseback show wear and aging consistent with a vintage watch; please review the photographs carefully for the exact condition. I tried to photograph the watch from every angle and under different lighting conditions to show every aspect of its actual condition. Service history is unknown. Water resistance has not been tested or certified and should not be assumed despite the original “Waterproof” marking on the caseback. Case diameter: approximately 36 mm; lug width: approximately 19 mm.
