Arguably one of the 3 most highly desired Fender Tweeds..The 5E7 Bandmaster, 5F6-A Bassman and the 5F4 narrow panel Tweed Super. This one features its original Victoria Luggage Los Angeles Cover as the St. Louis ones are REPRODUCTIONS by Gregg Hopkins. To spite having zero changed electrical components this Amp actually works. It is filled with Vintage GE and Tungsol tubes most likely original to the amp. The handle, line cord, hardware, tweed, speakers, cabinets, grill, electrical components all original.
Its extremely rare to come across an untouched original example period.
The last 3 photos are a comparison, (S 02438), versus our offering, (S 02460). The comparison is from the same run, (10) and just 22 numbers away. Aside from the reproduction cover the comparison features NON original Jensens from a STEREO with incorrect Fender nomenclature as ours has the OEM Fender 220841 and C-5888-6 factory order number and our caps are dated 847 and 821. As a precaution the speakers were reconned. The comparison has changed electrinic components, (6 Caps restuffed and 4 oversize resistors). Factor in the damaged tweed and you have way worse condition. The comparison is being offered at $16,750 making ours a great buy as the Victoria Luggage cover alone is $1000 to $1500. The speakers are more of a $3000 debacle as finding a matched pair, correctly dated with the Fender \"C\" factory order numbers such as C 5888-6 which is correct will be a task. In addition there would be a delta of about $1000 for the changed components. While both examples have high tide marks from moisture on the bottom, the comp has badly damaged tweed on the top right putting the comp in the fair condition group.
