Pink embroidered 1960s true vintage mod-style shift dress in good condition and made of two matching fabrics: used for most of the dress, a soft-to-the-touch pink midweight weave in what appears to be cotton, embroidered in a scallop-and-dot pattern in white thread, and, in the upper bodice, a very pale pink chiffon (fiber content unknown, but appears to be silk) embroidered in the same scallop-and-dot pattern. Pink piping around neck. Semi-sheer upper bodice, reinforced in back with layer of plain chiffon and short semi-sheer embroidered chiffon sleeves. IGLU label and designers label as pictured.
SIZING: All measurements are taken flat. Double these to compare them to the measurements of similar pieces in your closet that fit you well, not to your body measurements. Since this is a shift dress, it\'s meant to fit a little more loosely than, say, a fit-and-flare style, while not hiding your shape. You should have enough wearing ease to be able to move, breathe, and eat.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Freshly washed and pressed. Unfinished seam allowances are slightly frayed inside the dress, as shown, but unlikely to fray much further due to weave of fabric. If they do fray a little, the allowances on either side of the zipper may need to be trimmed very slightly so the threads don\'t catch in the zipper. Three small holes in chiffon of upper bodice, two repaired, as shown; the chiffon is fragile, but stood up well to a very gentle recent hand wash. Piping around neck frayed in a section approximately 2\" long, visible only very close up, as shown. Original pink metal zipper opens smoothly and pink embroidered cotton that makes up most of dress is in excellent condition.
