Vintage Pendleton shawl, circa 1970's. It features a Banded Geometric / Crystal Border motif arranged in a classic Southwestern serape-style stripe layout. The intricate geometric bands—woven with stepped diamonds and arrowheads—are set against alternating solid dark brown, rich red/orange, and green panels. Black 7" fringe.Woven under Pendleton's Beaver State line as part of their Native American trade shawls and robes. It features hand-tied wool fringe on all four sides, typical of traditional dance shawls and throw robes. Measures approximately. 45“ x 30“. Condition notes:-Several scars on underside of blanket.
