I describe it as very nice condition The front body is very nice as is the back of the body . The back of the neck has some of the finish worn off . The gold hardware is pretty nice , the fretboard is very nice as is the pearl inlays . The sound is the main thing and there is no better sound than this era Les Paul . The tone pots are dated 11/78 , the guitar was completed June 3 1980 according to the serial number. A real joy to play and the collectors dream you can go wrong by owning it
