I purchased this truck new in 1989, sold it to a friend and bought it back 3 years ago and restored it to its current condition. Always a California truck and is rust and damage free. Recent paint using a base coat clear coat in the original paint 2 tone color, all new trim, grill, emblems headlights and tail lights from LMC truck. The engine is a Jasper exchange 5.8 L with only 6000 miles. Transmission is the heavy duty ZF 5 speed. Suspension is completely overhauled and upgraded to 1 ton spec to haul a cabover camper, complete with a Torklift super hitch and frame mounted tie downs. The camper shown (not included) is a Northern Lite that weighs 3600 lbs. New, not rebuilt, power steering gear. Rebuilt transfer case. Air conditioning has been converted to R134 with a new compressor. Brakes have been rebuilt. Tires are recent BFG all terrain in the original size to enhance the class look. Interior is very clean with a new seat from LMC truck. Dash is flawless. New Kenwood sound system. New windshield and side glass. Not many classic trucks like this collectible “Brick Nose” are left.
