A Little HistoryThe 1992 United States Olympic men’s basketball team became forever known as the “Dream Team.” Barcelona marked the first Olympics in which the U.S. men’s team featured NBA players.Coached by Chuck Daly, Team USA went a perfect 8-0, winning every game by at least 30 points. They defeated Croatia 117-85 in the gold-medal game and won their eight Olympic games by an average of roughly 44 points. Eleven members of the roster would ultimately become Basketball Hall of Famers.
