Original microcarving tile by Chinese artist Jiang Guandong (1944 - 2011). The tile is glued onto a rectangle paper; titled, signed and dated by artist. The microcarving consists of some religious text and a portrait of a goddess, most likely Guan-yin. All hand carved, not pressed or moulded. Fine scratches, light wear and faint glue residue on tile.
