Free shipping in lower 48 US States! These are valve covers for a 2000 Ford Ranger, 3.0 Litre V6 Engine. What you see is what you\'ll get. The covers were pulled from a vehicle that had 131,000 miles on it.
Part Numbers I got from my research (ChatGPT) are the following:
Driver side (left bank): F87Z-6582-EAPassenger side (right bank): YF2Z-6582-AA — this replaced the original F88Z-6582-AA.
These look to be very common on the 3.0L V6 in the Ford Rangers of the 2000 era. Please do your own research to be sure.Other than being dirty, there are no visual intakes or known issues with these valve covers. You will need new gaskets for sure!! The engine these covers were pulled from was a daily driven truck that had a blown head gasket. That does that not relate to the function of these valve covers as they can be reused if you get new gaskets.
The owner decided to do an entire engine swap rather than fixing the head gasket, and I was left with his old engine in my garage. Now I\'m hacking the parts out to you Ranger owners that might need some good parts, LOL. The engine these covers were removed from ran fine other than the blown head gasket. Again, I can\'t stress enough that you\'ll need to buy new gaskets with these covers. These are old gaskets pictured in the photos. Do not resuse.
