Cosmopolitan is an international fashion magazine for women that was formerly titled The Cosmopolitan. The Cosmopolitan magazine is one of the best-selling magazines and is directed mainly toward women readers. Jessica Pels is an appointed editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine.The magazine was first published and distributed in 1886 in the US as a family magazine; it was later transformed into a literary magazine and since 1965 has become a women\'s magazine.
Often referred to as Cosmo, its content as of 2011 includes articles discussing relationships, sex, health, careers, self-improvement, celebrities, fashion, horoscopes, and beauty. Published by Hearst Corporation. Cosmopolitan has 64 international editions, including Armenia, Australia, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Latin America, Malaysia, the Middle East, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom and is printed in 35 different languages and distributed in over 110 countries.

GIA CARANGI ~ Gia’s meteoric rise to the top provided her innumerous opportunities inside and outside the fashion business. The Belgian-American fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg, best known for her wrap dress, hired Gia to model in a campaign that combined all of her products. Both spent a weekend at Calvin Klein’s house, where Diane claimed to have fallen in love with her. “I was excited to see Gia. I had a girl’s crush on her” - said the fashion designer in an interview for Daily Mail.

In the photos in this listing I have added an out take of this photo shoot. It is the last photo in the photos section.....THE PHOTO FOR THIS SHOOT IS NOT IN THE MAGAZINE, I just added it for your enjoyment if you are a Gia collector. Magazine is in overall very good++ collectible condition, especially when you consider that it is 42 years old. The inside is still in great condition. Inserts are all intact. News stand, very clean ship at least 3 times a week, and I will upload a tracking number after I have been to the Post Office to ship. I personally take to the Post Office instead of waiting for them to pick up items. I am trying to close-out most of my listings and get off of because they are getting outrageous, greedy in their expenditure costs.
