Beautiful pair (2) of antique Japanese Satsuma hand-painted small vases in the 1000 faces pattern from the Meiji period (1868–1912). Features hand-painted faces or legends with intricate designs and embossed enameling with decorative gilt handles. Each measure 6 1/4\" high x 2\" diameter at rim (3 1/4\" total diameter). Set is in overall Excellent condition, note one vase has a small repair to the rim as well as a small nick to the foot, not noticeable, the other has a small spot of paint loss on the rim, otherwise Excellent.
