THE 691 HAS A 4 1/4" BLADE LENGTH,...THE 393 HAS A 4 1/8" BLADE LENGTH----------BOTH KNIVES ARE SOLID WITH NOTHING LOOSE & NO REAL ISSUES BESIDES USE. THE 691 IS CIRCA 1994 AND BLOOKS GREAT BUT NEEDS TOUCH UP RESHARPENING. THE SHEATH SHOWS A LITTLE WEAR BUT IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE. THE 393 IS CIRCA 2007 AND ALSO LOOKS PRETTY FAIR IS IT'S PRETTY SHARP.
