Why I make these
I started making my own snap caps because I was let down too many times by what other sellers have to offer. Sure, it’s ultimately a disposable item, but I didn’t enjoy handling and struggling with the cheap plastics sellers use to cut costs, just to throw them away and throw down for more.
Metal cases seem overkill and increase the cost with no benefits. Why not just use a quality plastic with better durability? So many material choices are over-engineered or under-engineered...
I was looking for a sweet spot: a quality, durable polymer that could withstand many, many dry-fires without breaking the bank. My testing has shown a pack of these should last over 400 dry fires.
