5 (Five) - 1911 Magazine Pad IDPA compliant with Stainless screws - Black:
$14.48

5 (Five) polyurethane magazine pads with free stainless steel screws hardware.

These are 100% manufactured here in USA using high impact resistant polyurethane with the perfect combination of higher durability, flexibility and elasticity with superior resistance to impact, abrasion and weather, as compared to regular hard plastic versions of other magazine pads.

Polyurethane is a synthetic polymer superior to rubber or plastic in multiple ways:

  • Durability: Polyurethane is known for its exceptional wear and tear resistance, often outlasting rubber by up to 50%. It is ideal for applications requiring high durability, such as automotive parts and industrial machinery.
  • Chemical Resistance: It offers superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including oils and solvents, making it suitable for harsh environments.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Polyurethane maintains its properties in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 194°F (-40°C to 90°C), making it versatile for various applications.

These pads are attached to 1911 single stack magazines with self tapping stainless steel screws supplied. In the rare case of having magazines with no screw holes, it is recommended to drill holes in the base plates prior to adding pads. The hole spacing is the standard .531" center to center, which is common on most all predrilled magazines. Extended pad is .550" long, it extends beyond the mag well to aid in positive seating for combat specialists or IDPA and IPSC competitors.

Note: for tactical drills usage we recommend this polyurethane version, because it is better suited to being repetitively dropped into the ground, as it is less prone to scratches and torn compared to hard polymer or rubber.
