Application:Type NM-B (non-metallic 90° C) typically used in indoor applicationsinside wall cavities and attics. Pleasesee Article 334 of the National Electrical Code (NEC) for further applications.
Construction: 3 conductor, 12 gauge solid construction has theinsulated conductors (Black, Red and White) parallel. The ground wire is wrapped withfire-retardant paper and laid parallel between the insulated conductors. Ground wire is 12 gauge solid also. The entire construction is wrapped with a paper separator before applying the jacket which is purple on 12 gauge NM-B. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket is applied over the complete assembly.
Conductors: Solid conductors are soft, uncoated copper per ASTM B3.
Standards: UL 719: E9810 UL 83:E15119 ASTM B3
