CONDITION DESCRIPTION: This listing is for 6 beautiful, authentic Wallace Grande Baroque sterling silver butter knives. Stainless Blade. Sterling Handle. They are in excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, bright shine and a deep, crisp classic Baroque pattern patina. I think they may show only light, normal surface wear from gentle use. Don\'t even look used to me, but I am not an expert. Came from estate of 95-year-old individual. They look wonderful to me. I think these were made 80 + years ago. Very Impressive!
HALLMARKS: Stamped \"Wallace\" and \"Sterling Handle / Stainless Blade\" near base of blade. Contact me if you want more pictures.
MONOGRAM NOTE: There is a very faint monogram (B. K. in beautiful script), located discreetly on the narrow side edge of the handle, rather than the front. It is virtually invisible when the knife is resting flat on a set table. It does not detract from the gorgeous presentation of the pattern. You would have to know what you are looking for to even see it. And then it would have to be held at the correct angle to prevent any glare from almost making it invisible.
