Beautiful vintage condition! Light runs to jacquard fabric throughout. Small stain & heavy run near back hook & loops at top of neck. Inside hem seems to have been re-stitched. Water or glue damage to underside of belt. Someone punched 3 extra holes in the belt. Belt may not handle being folded for shipment well -- it does feel a bit ready to crack *please look closely at photos*
THIS DRESS IS THE GREATEST 60s DRESS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! And I am devastated that it will never fit over my hips again -- Inever even got to wear it!!! Bought it from a vintage archivist / stylist as a possible dress for my wedding (I wasn\'t going to be a conventional bride!) but it didn\'t make the cut.
This dress is an incredible relic but has imperfections that come with the hand-sewn nature of this garment being nearly 70 years old!! That said, no one is going to notice those imperfections when you show up rocking this! Would make an incredible go-go dancer costume.
Dress is tagged a size 10 in 1960s sizing, which is more like a modern Medium but PLEASE see measurements below to ensure fit:
