ANTIQUE MYSTERY RIBBON BADGE: 1900 S.A.D.N. USA & FRANCE FLAGS P429
This ribbon is from a larger collection of antique Turner (German fitness and culture group) and Wheelmen (cycling club) in New York. While the metal MANAGER tag is similar to 1901 ribbons related to the Prospect New York Wheelmen, the colors differ does the font and the S.A.D.N. abbreviation. It is also unclear why a French flag would be on the tag for either the Wheelmen or the Turners. There is a French veteran\'s group with the acronym S.A.D.M. so it could be a typo on the ribbon. Perhaps someone will recognize this significance and preserve this interesting badge.
