Vintage first-edition copy with interesting previous-owner provenance. Includes a personalized “From the Library of J. Greyson” bookplate, ownership embossing, handwritten geographic annotations on the maps, and several handwritten historical research notes/sticky notes left inside the book.
A handwritten note records that the book was purchased at Oxford Too Bookstore in Buckhead (Atlanta) on June 11, 1995.
The annotations and research material appear to have been made by previous a previous owner. No claim is being made that the annotations are by Allan W. Eckert or that the previous owner was associated with the author.
Dust jacket and book show age/use consistent with a vintage 1978 copy. Please review all photos carefully for condition, writing, annotations, bookplate, and jacket wear. All research notes found with the book will remain with it.
