Original antique late-19th-century gem-size tintype portrait of a young man with mustache, presented in an embossed decorative paper mount.The visible tintype image measures approximately 1 1/8 x 1 1/2 inches. Overall mounted card measures approximately 2 3/8 x 3 7/8 inches.Estimated date: circa 1880s–1890s.The portrait remains clear with good facial detail. The antique paper mount shows expected age, toning, edge and corner wear, and minor surface soiling. The reverse shows oxidation/rust spotting on the exposed back of the metal plate.Please review all photographs for exact condition.
