Antique Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machine Company wooden attachment/accessory box dating to the late 19th century.This beautiful original sewing-machine accessory case features an elaborately carved lid with floral and scroll decoration surrounding the Wheeler & Wilson “W&W” emblem and “Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machines” lettering.Constructed with finger-jointed corners and fitted with two metal hinges, a push-button closure and its original-style burgundy velvet-lined interior. The box was originally made to hold Wheeler & Wilson sewing-machine attachments and accessories. No sewing-machine attachments are included.Measures approximately 8.75 inches long × 3.25 inches wide × 2.75 inches high. Weight approximately 12 oz.Good antique condition with expected wear from age and use, including scratches, finish wear, small edge marks and wear/soiling to the interior lining.
