Scalloped foliate lobed rim decorated with rich under‑glaze blue honeycomb ground, floral and butterfly border patterns. The well centre features a hand‑painted polychrome enamel armorial crest with seated hound above shield bearing gold chevron and three gold star mullet motifs, accented with original gilding.Heraldry: Azure a chevron or between three mullets or, crest a hound sejant. Exact family attribution remains unconfirmed; several British gentry branches bear near‑identical arms. Chinese painters worked from a European sketch, minor interpretive variations are normal for export armorial porcelain of this era.
