Charming antique 1910s-era Thanksgiving postcard measuring approximately 5.5” x 3.5”.
The front features a colorful “Thanksgiving Joys” harvest design with a large ear of corn, wishbone, rural scene, and raised sparkling decorative accents. The printed sentiment reads, “A kind Thought A kind Deed Are Golden Links indeed.”
The reverse has period handwritten correspondence with an interesting reference to the writer working for DuPont and expecting to be transferred to Hopewell, adding a nice Virginia and early industrial-history connection. The card was addressed but was not stamped or postmarked.
Good antique condition with attractive color and decorative sparkle still present. Shows expected age-related corner and edge wear, toning, and some creasing. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
