This is an authentic antique showing a gorgeous, warm aged brass patina that collectors look for. In good overall structural condition with a snugly fitting original lid. Crucially, the interior is clean and has NO rust or heavy flaking, making it a cut above many other surviving examples. As is typical with these thin-gauge pressed brass over tinplate promotional containers, there is some exterior age wear, minor age spots, and visible indentation/crinkling around the bottom rim edge especially. Please study the photos carefully).A fantastic, highly displayable piece of British social history, advertising memorabilia, and Art Deco design!
