An exquisite rank badge for the front of a court robe, thus cut in two halves. It is a beautiful kesi weave with many spirits flying around the silver pheasant which is facing a red sun. It is lined in pale blue silk. It is a very fine example.
The condition is good. We note some fraying at the outer edges and a few tiny tears and pulls in the water, as pictured.
