Just picked this up at a local sale. Made of cut sheet metal w. seperate applied arms, spike and hair. Figure measures 13 inches tall. Appears to be a youth with long flowing hair. Hand engraved eyes, nose and mouth look more Jack-0-lantern in style. Hands have a soldiered socket for I am guessing a flag. I am sure at some time it was probably hand painted however no paint remains that I can see. Shows typical age and wear. I did not oil it and left it as I found it. Nice original Patina. Thanks for looking.
