Antique 19th Century Victorian Beaded Needlepoint Cushion/ Pillow 12\" For Sale

Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Victorian Decorative Accessories. The price is for one antique Victorian Beaded Needlepoint Seat Cushion or Pillow. The top is Victorian period and dates 1860-1880s. It has a brown needlepoint with a Earth tone glass beadwork pattern. Probably English. Would have been used as a cushion on a wood seat,  a footstool upholstery, or a decorative pillow. Pillow probably was re-made or made in the early to mid 20th Century. Needlepoint is 19th Century. Beautiful detailed work. Antique. Top is over 100 years old. This was a used textile and prone to damage. Condition is fair to good for age. There are minor areas of beadwork loss (some pictured). The black silk backing and side fabric is worn through with holes in areas and starting to disintegrate in areas. The beadwork is beautiful and it could be remade into a pillow it used for another project. Still a hard to find beautiful decorative piece of Victoriana. Selling as-is. We usually ship 3 to 7 days after payment clears. We charge a $2.50 handling fee. All items sold as-is where-is. We are only responsible for the item while in our possession. We will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. We will pack all items VERY WELL with bubble wrap and peanuts(furniture will be packed by the shipper). That is why ALL of the items purchased require insurance. In the unlikely event an item is damaged or lost by the mail/shipper we will work with you to help you file your claim, but the settlement will be between you and the carrier.
