Authentic antique German bisque-head doll by Armand Marseille, dating to approximately the early 1900s.
Back of bisque head is marked 1894, AM 6, DEP, Made in Germany. Doll measures approximately 19 inches tall and features a bisque socket head, sleep eyes, open mouth with visible teeth, blonde wig, and fully jointed composition body.
This doll is being sold as found and as pictured. The composition body shows considerable age-related wear, including paint/finish loss, scuffs, cracking/wear around the joints, and a detached/damaged lower leg/ankle area. Clothing is incomplete and shows age and wear. Wig also shows age and wear.
Please carefully review all photographs for condition. This is an antique doll well over 100 years old and is being offered as a restoration/display piece or for an antique doll collection.
