Antique Case Tested XX Era Folding Knife Jigged Bone Coke Bottle 1920-1940 Rare For Sale

Antique Case folding knife believed to date to the Case Tested XX era, circa 1920–1940, based on the early Case tang-stamp style and construction.

This substantial single-blade folding knife features beautiful jigged bone handles with rich brown and amber coloration, an inset CASE shield, brass pins and liners, metal bolsters, and a large clip-point style blade. The large swell-center profile is often referred to by collectors as a Coke Bottle style folding knife.

The knife measures approximately 9 1/2 inches long when fully open. Please see measurement photos for additional dimensions.

Mechanical condition: The blade has a functioning half-stop and feels secure, with no noticeable blade looseness or play when checked by the owner. It opens and closes as expected for an antique folding knife.

The exact Case pattern number has not been located or confirmed. Although the size and construction resemble known early Case large folding-hunter/Coke Bottle patterns, we are intentionally not assigning a specific pattern number without a visible factory pattern marking.

This knife has been left in its found condition and has not been cleaned or polished. The blade shows substantial age-related patina, oxidation, spotting, scratches, discoloration and evidence of previous use/sharpening. The bolsters and shield have scratches and surface wear, while the jigged bone handles show the natural wear and character expected from an old working knife.
