Antique Cast Bronze Sleeping Christ Child on a Hand Carved Wood Manger. An incredible piece. The bronze is nicely detailed with an aged patina. A few dings noted but good overall. The bronze is not signed. The bronze has one hole on the base that fits into a pin loosely. The piece will turn side to side by hand. The wood base has two holes. One with a pin. No second hole on the bronze but the wood base matches the bronze nicely in size. A good match if not original. The hand carved wood base has a nice aged patina and is in good condition. A unique if not scarce piece. No comparison pieces found. The bronze Christ Child is Approximately 2” long and sits on a wood base that is approximately 2.75” long.
