Exceptional early 19th century Canton covered tureen. Classic Chinese decoration of Trees, Rocks, and Jen-Wu (people, animals, buildings, and boats), moth border, with boars head and fern leaf handles. Some elements similar to much copied willow pattern.
Approximately 10-1/2\" long x 8-1/2\" wide x 5\" tall without lid.
Very good condition, one chip in the edge of the tureen and a few hairline cracks inside which don\'t appear to extend through the glaze. The lid has a few small dark pitted areas on the edge. Otherwise fine for it\'s age.
