An authentic late Qing / Republic period Chinese Famille Rose (Fencai) porcelain covered jar. The cylindrical body features a finely hand-painted Bogu (Hundred Antiques / 博古图) scene displaying traditional scholar’s objects, vases holding lotus blossoms, antique tables, scrolls, and auspicious symbols against a white ground. The upper collar band is decorated with stylized floral scrollwork over a lime green ground, topped with its original matching domed cover.
Marks & Provenance Indications:
Base Mark: Stamped in iron-red with a four-character Qianlong Nian Zhi (乾隆年制) seal mark.
Export Seal: Features an original red wax export seal on the underside.
Paper Label: Retains a vintage Chinese Cultural Relics Bureau / Antique Store paper label (文物商店 - Wenwu Shangdian) on the neck band.
