A highly unique antique/vintage Chinese Famille Rose porcelain footed bowl.The exterior of this piece features beautifully executed overglaze hand-painted longevity peaches nestled among rich green foliage. The paintings sit against an organic, cream-colored glaze ground displaying prominent natural crazing, minor kiln firing anomalies, and characteristic iron-spot venting.The interior basin opens up to a striking, thick turquoise-aqua enamel wash. The center features a highly distinct, hand-painted overglaze calligraphy signature applied with a traditional dry-brush ink medium. The brushwork exhibits classic calligraphy features, including sharp deliberate tail flicks, variable line widths, and dry brush stroke separations ("flying white") where the brush hairs split across the glaze. To preserve the fragile integrity of these original historic brushstrokes, the interior basin should be handled with extreme care and left unwashed.The unglazed, sandy foot rim surrounds a stamped iron-red four-character square mark on the base styled after Late Imperial Tongzhi signatures, accompanied by an interesting natural ink bleed that forms a unique facial pattern.
